Makers’ Community

A cozy, drop-in Virtual Open Studio and body-doubling space.

For knitters, painters, makers, and neurospicy creatives who want real connection without having to leave the house—or mask who they are.

What is the Makers’ Community?

Imagine your favorite open studio or maker space, but it lives online and never disappears.

Some days it’s quiet focus, some days it’s full of laughter and “wait, show me that again.” It’s the gathering place within the wider ArtemisNorth ecosystem, sitting alongside ADHD University and TechAlchemy.

  • Virtual Open Studio rooms where you can work on WIPs with other humans in the background (perfect for body-doubling).
  • Space for classes, demos, movie nights, and gentle experiment-y workshops.
  • Simple digital boards for sharing wins, gratitude, and links without losing them—or getting distracted by an algorithm.

Knit Happens Wednesdays

Every Wednesday, 1–3 PM ET.

Our signature weekly Virtual Open Studio and body-doubling session. It’s part focus time, part hang-out, part “bring your chaos and we’ll deal with it.”

  • Don’t let the name fool you. Whether you are knitting a sweater, knitting lines of code, or untangling a plot hole—you belong here.
  • Low-pressure, high-kindness. Cameras on or off.
  • A weekly anchor to help your WIPs (and your brain) actually move forward.
